1. Ship Access
Ship ladders move crew between decks fast, inside a tight footprint. We fabricate fixed ship ladders at 60–75° with serrated SS304 or SS316 treads, sized to OSHA 1910.23 and EN ISO 14122-4. Rung spacing holds at 250–300 mm, and each rung is rated to 1.5 kN. In our Shijiazhuang workshop we weld every stringer joint to full penetration, then grind it flush so a gloved hand finds no snag.
2. Dock Applications
Tidal docks punish steel. Saltwater, UV, and constant wet-dry cycling strip cheap coatings inside one season. Our dock ladders use SS316 or hot-dip galvanized Q235B at 80–120 µm coating thickness, thick enough to survive a decade of brine. Flip-up and fixed dock ladders both ship with material certificates and weld reports, so your inspector signs off on the first visit.
3. Offshore Platform
Offshore platform access ladders carry the strictest spec we build. SS316L throughout, cage hoops to BS 4211 and EN ISO 14122-4, and load test data on every batch. Each production run is pull-tested to 1.5× rated load. Samples then go to SGS and Bureau Veritas for third-party salt-spray and tensile verification. Our ISO 9001:2015 system logs every heat number from plate to packed crate.
4. Case Study
In 2024 a Norwegian developer ordered 48 offshore platform access ladders for a wind substation in the North Sea. The spec was blunt: SS316L, 120 µm passivation, full traceability. We delivered in 9 weeks, factory-direct with no middleman markup, and the install crew closed out with zero punch-list defects. Material certificates, weld reports, and load test data rode in the same container.
