Oil & Gas Access Ladders for Offshore Platforms, Refineries and FPSOs

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Dengtai builds oil & gas access ladders for the harshest energy sites on earth. We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified factory in Shijiazhuang, founded in 2003, shipping to more than 50 countries direct from our 8000 square metre workshop. No middleman, no trading-house markup.

Platform Access

Offshore platform access ladders take constant load and constant salt. We fabricate them in hot-dip galvanised Q235B for topside walkways and in SS316 where the splash zone never dries. Galvanised coatings run 85 microns minimum, checked on every batch. In our workshop we usually specify a 1.5 kN rung load and a cage entry above 3 metres, in line with OSHA 1910.23 and EN ISO 14122-4. Drilling rig access ladders follow the same rung spacing, so crews move between decks without re-learning the climb.

Refinery Applications

Refinery access ladders live next to flare lines and hot pipework. Heat, vibration and washdown chemicals all attack the steel. We answer that with SS316 stringers, fully welded rungs and weld reports on file for every joint. Bureau Veritas and SGS have signed off the load test data on these runs. Material certificates travel inside the crate, so your QA team can trace each grade back to the mill.

FPSO Requirements

FPSO access ladders are a category of their own. A floating production unit flexes, so the ladders need slip-resistant treads, marine-grade fixings and a finish that survives years between dry-docks. We deliver oil & gas access ladders for FPSO turret and process decks with serrated SS316 rungs and a documented salt-spray result above 1000 hours. You are welcome to audit our welds on site.

Case Study

A West African operator needed 240 metres of vertical ladder and 18 caged runs for a refinery expansion. Lead time was tight. We delivered in 41 days, every rung tension-tested and every weld mapped. The client passed a third-party TUV inspection on the first visit with zero non-conformances. That is the result factory-direct control makes possible.
