WAREHOUSE ACCESS · FIXED & WELDED

Warehouse Ladder Systems, Fixed and Welded In-House

Permanent vertical and wall-mounted steel access for mezzanines, racking, plant and rooftop equipment. We build it in our ISO 9001:2015 plant and ship factory-direct — material certificates, weld reports and load-test data on every order.

OVERVIEW

What Is a Warehouse Ladder, and When Is Fixed the Right Call?

A warehouse ladder is a permanently installed steel climb — bolted or welded to a mezzanine edge, a racking upright, a pit wall or a roof curb. It does not roll. No wheels, no casters, nothing to drift while a picker is two metres up. That is the line we draw: a fixed ladder for warehouse use is for daily, repeatable access to the same height, not for roaming the aisles.

This is where warehouse ladder safety actually starts. A fixed climb removes the tip-and-slide risk of a mobile unit, and it lets us engineer the fall protection to the real height. In our shop we anchor the stiles, set rung pitch under 300 mm, and add a cage or a fall-arrest rail once the climb passes the code threshold. Short climbs stay simple. Tall ones get protected.

Because every ladder leaves the same weld shop that pours the certificates, there is no middleman markup and no field guesswork. You get the steel grade you specified, the coating you paid for, and the paperwork to prove it: material certificates, weld reports and load-test data. On our floor we treat a fixed warehouse climb like structure, not hardware. One de-identified example: a third-party logistics operator in Western Europe took roughly 40 galvanized mezzanine access ladders, dry-fit and load-tested in batches before shipping, and reported a clean install with zero on-site rework.

Geometry We Cut To

Rung pitch, clear width and cage start height are cut to your measured climb — we dry-fit each ladder before galvanizing so it lands flush on site, no shimming.

≤300 mm rung pitch 20 mm solid rungs 400-600 mm clear width 1.5 kN rung load 65-85 µm HDG
Parameter Value
Ladder material Q235B (hot-dip galvanized) or SS304 / SS316

Clear climb width 400-600 mm between stiles
Rung load Designed to ≥1.5 kN single-rung point load
Galvanizing Hot-dip, 65-85 µm to ISO 1461
Stainless finish SS304 / SS316, brushed or pickled-passivated for wash-down and food-grade bays
Fall protection Safety cage from the code threshold, or fall-arrest rail / cable system
Mounting Wall-mounted brackets, floor-fixed base, or welded to mezzanine / rack steel

RANGE

Fixed Ladder Types We Build for Warehouses

Welded and dry-fit in-house

One batch, one set of certificates

Mezzanine Access Ladder (Q235B, HDG)

Our default warehouse climb: hot-dip galvanized Q235B fixed to the mezzanine edge, 20 mm rungs at 250-300 mm pitch. Best value for covered storage and pick floors. Add a self-closing gate at the top landing.

Wall-Mounted Vertical Ladder

A space-saving fixed ladder access route bolted flat to a wall or column for plant rooms, roof hatches and tank tops. SS304 stiles where corrosion or wash-down is a factor.

Rack & Equipment Inspection Ladder

For high-bay racking checks, conveyor decks and machine platforms. Caged or rail-protected once the climb clears the fall threshold. A ladder for warehouse use that sees daily traffic, built to take it.

Rooftop HVAC / Plant Ladder

Permanent roof-deck access to chillers, AHUs and solar racks. Galvanized for outdoor life, or SS316 in coastal and chemical air. Pairs with a walkway or guardrail run on request.

Get a Factory-Direct Fixed-Ladder Quote

Send your climb height, the mount (mezzanine, wall, rack or roof) and the standard you work to. We will size a fixed ladder to OSHA 1910.23 or EN ISO 14122-4 and quote it straight from the plant — no middleman. Factory audits welcome.
