Overview
What Is a Fixed Roof Access Ladder?
A fixed roof access ladder is a permanently mounted vertical ladder that gets people safely from ground or floor level onto a roof. Unlike a portable ladder, it bolts to the wall or parapet and stays put — rated, certified, and ready for daily use. We build ours from Q235B carbon steel or SS304 stainless, sized to your climb height.
On parapet jobs, our engineers usually pre-drill the top bracket at the factory so the install crew skips on-site templating. Small detail, but it saves an hour on the roof and keeps the anchor pattern exact. Every flight leaves the floor squared and rung-checked.
We ship factory-direct to 50+ countries, with no trading house between you and the welders. A water-treatment operator in the Middle East recently ordered a batch of hot-dip galvanized fixed ladders for tank-top access; the run went out with load-test data and third-party SGS inspection on file.

Installation
How to Install a Fixed Roof Access Ladder
1. Site Survey & Layout
Confirm parapet substrate, climb height, and top-landing position before fabrication.
2. Mount Stand-Off Brackets
Fix brackets with chemical or expansion anchors at the specified spacing; set 150 mm wall clearance.
3. Assemble Ladder Flights
Bolt sections, align rungs at 250 mm spacing, and level the stile.
4. Fit Fall Protection
Add a safety cage or vertical rail / lifeline once the climb crosses the OSHA 1910.23 height trigger.
5. Inspect & Hand Over
Load-check, weld and anchor inspection, then hand over certificates and load-test data.
